Tell us a little bit about yourself – your family, hobbies, experiences, education, etc., basically anything you’d like to share.

My name is Elena and I am a Catholic Content Creator on instagram, (@elenasapphire) and I have a Youtube Channel “Purpose For Paradise.” I have plans for a podcast to come out soon as well. I am passionate about helping girls become the women “God created them to be.” We all have a purpose, and that purpose is for paradise. The desires of the feminine heart lead directly to Jesus, and the essence of femininity is revealed in the Eternal Woman, The Holy Mother of God. I love to share the beauty of true femininity, and traditional Catholicism. I believe the best method of evangelization is through beauty.

What is your apostolate? How do you bring truth, beauty and goodness to the world? How did your ministry/apostolate begin?

I grew up doing acting, musical theater, voiceover work. I was actively pursuing a career in the entertainment industry until God called me to The Holy Land in 2019. I had a profound mystical experience at the Church of Saint Peter’s Primacy, where Jesus told Peter “Feed My Sheep.” I was kneeling down after receiving Holy Communion, gazing upon The Sea of Galilee, when the most beautiful feeling I have ever felt in my whole life washed over me. It was as if some of heaven was poured into my soul and all throughout my entire being. In a split second the beauty of Heaven triumphed the world for me, and left me on fire with zeal to spread the gospel. I made the decision at that moment to quit worldly pursuit, and take up Christ’s call to go “Feed His Sheep” and evangelize.

What have you struggled with and how have you managed to balance the interior life of Mary, with the exterior life of Martha? Tell us about your practice of prayer and any special devotions you have, and how this supports/enhances your apostolate.

There’s a quote by Padre Pio that I really like. “Don’t become so engrossed in the activities of Martha, that you forget the silence and surrender of Mary. May the Virgin who reconciles both duties so well, be your model and inspiration.” Everything starts with the interior life. In the silence and surrender come the topics, the ideas, the truth that needs to be shared. I’m very contemplative and very much about silence, and I find that’s where the seed is planted for the action to be carried out. I can only speak, and evangelize on that which has come to me interiorly. Fittingly enough, The Patron Saint of my ministry is Saint Mary Magdalene, and I feel this interview is her way of acknowledging her intercession!

Where can we learn more about you, your apostolate and new projects?
